| One free tool that makes it easier is Mailwasher [www.mailwasher.net].  It 
flags the possibles and they go on a "blacklist".  As has been noted, 
replying on this list and others can sometimes result in a message being 
tagged as "possible spam", but Mailwasher lets you either accept it, bounce 
it, put it on a "Friends" list.  Along with the free virus protection 
available from www.grisoft.com and free firewall from www.zonealarm.com, 
you're pretty far along without spending any $$$.  Just my two.
