Yes, it does appear to be coming down
in copious amounts on the lower left coast, for sure.

I have the distinct feeling that massive
rain area which is drenching CA will
be the winter "break" for the Northeast
which today is MIGHTY cold and looking
for snow within the next 5.

But there is that coldfront pushing 
southward over the Pacific Northwest....
Will the massive storm to the south
keep the colder air northward, or will
the cold front move in behind the warmer
air and "follow" it to the East Coast to
zap us, yet again. Tune in next week.....
