The Mini block is very different.
It had a gearbox in the sump and different block castings for it.
Also the crankshaft is very different as is the flywheel.
Drop gears on the Mini, none on the Sprite.
I have heard that a shop can make the changes, I just don't know if it's
worth all that expense.
Try to find a Morris Minor engine, that will drop right in.
