Yeah...this, too...Kate.

Without true campaign finance reform
we will never be able to get rid of these
types and the corporations who finance
the people we get to choose to elect, will continue doing so......

...."business as usual", despite the
fact the consequences of having these
types in power is obviously less than
good for the country....

I mean, really obviously....
....as we slowly go "third world" with respect to principles, ethics,
quality and economic well being in
terms of the middle class, which continues to shrink as we become more
a nation of fewer "haves" and more "have
nots" over the course of time.

Yep...our guys upstairs have done a
great job in the last 40 years....running
a "popularity contest" (gosh, I hope they
like me) rather than dealing long term
with the issues, as they run around avoiding responsibility and
band-aiding
everything to hell as in "short-term fix"
in dealing with symptoms, rather than
causes. Oh, well, still glad I'm "here"
and not "there". It could be a lot worse
but man...it could be a lot better, too.
