We didn't take their airplanes and turn
them into bombs, bushwacking 3,000 innocent civilians while attacking
our
economy as well with this act and continued threats of future acts.
I do not think there is a dictatorshp over
there that probably does not support
at least one of the extremist groups in
one way or another. Well, maybe not
ALL of them...how about most.
Best we find a way to get as close
to them as possible, militarily. Maybe
then they will decide that cleaning up
their own "backyards" is in their best
interests?
Let's see..how could we do that? I know!
Let's take out the one who attacks his
own neighbors, murders, tortures and rapes his own and signs treaties
and
breaks them behind everyone's back.
An obvious "bad guy" to the extent he
is feared even by his own.
We can take out his regime easily at
this point and maintain a military presence
in the neighborhood from where this
extremist bullshit eminates. Now we're
in a position to threaten the originators
and supporters of these movements and
groups that threaten us....on their shores
rather than ours, 'cause we've established
a temporary "summer home" right next
door to them. Now we can really watch
them from close up. And get to them really quickly if need be. Maybe
they'll
decide to recall their "soldiiers" and/or
stop supporting them where ever they
may be....even "turn them in" if they fail
to cease and desist??!
I like this idea....do a little terrorizing of
our own but unlike their type.....in an
"out in the open, above board manner."
I mean if it's a choice between their way
or our way or a choice between our people or theirs (and the extremist
groups
have made it clear that it is), well then
their way and their people will have to
go....I mean, obviously. And...from right
"next door". Cool! Better on "their shores"
than ours.
Ya' know, I think the extremists and the
governments over there that support them
in any manner, shape or form have made
an error in judgement.....I don't think they really studied
history......Americans are
peace lovers....we don't want to go to war.
Prior to WW1 & 2, we were "isolationist"...
we had demonstrations by the people
against going to war...far greater then
the minority we see in this instance but
still, enough to prove that we'd rather
not.
Now Saddam's people could demonstrate
against his irresponsible behaviour in terms of the treaties he has
signed along
with the UN's resolution(s), thus endangering his own people but, he'd
just kill 'em, right? Sure.
Guess we gotta do what we gotta do...
take the battle to them rather than allow
them the opportunity to continue to take
it to us!
In this case, the best defense is definitely
a good offense! Oh, yeah...had the BE
out today. Had it not been for dear old
Dad and his buddies...this car along with
the freedom to use it may have not
existed.
