I personally like to run the coldest plug
possible without carbon fouling which
would be a '6' in the stock motor.

On 93PON, I bet you could get by on
'5's year around, even in summer, though
I personally use '6' with a higher energy
ignition than stock (PerTronix) and I think
this is what most guys use for the stock
motor and even mildly tuned.  

Were I using 91PON or below I would
definitely use '6'.

As long as you've got basically a chocolate "center" and touch of black
on the "outside" in "normal" driving.

The '8's would be for 11.0-1+CR's or Judson blower territory in summer
time!! :)
