Hello all, I just got a heck of a lecture from an old mechanic over braking
systems. I told him I was changing to disc from drum. He says the only
advantage is that the discs cool faster. But that the drums are a more
effective system requiring less pressure & more effective braking.
Everyone has disc brakes these days & it seems to be a popular change on
spridgets.
What are the opinions of the list? Advantages, disadvantages?
