I have not been able to find it in any of these locations.  I did find
the cutout in the sound deadening that Gerard mentioned, but not the
chassis number.
The number may have been there but the panel has rusted a bit, maybe
enough to "eat" the number.
The shock tower is in much better condition but I did not find any
number.  Are there any alternative locations I could find it in, or is
it possible that it was not stamped on every chassis ?
