Pat Matarainen is a best buddy. He was
born in France but grew up over here.
Yet, it is apparent to me that had France,
Germany and Russia not put their
national interests before global interests,
we might not have had to look after our
national interests by the use of force.
A global "solid" front would (I believe)
have forced Saddam to cooperate in
terms of the "voluntary" part of the UN's
most recent resolution, not to mention
Britain's last ditch attempt to work out
a peaceful solution. Now, a lot of people
will have to die and otherwise suffer.
