Well....IMHO....
The owner chooses the car, whether
conciously or sub-conciously.
The Corvette guys worry about their "performance"...the word "shrinkage"
sends is never mentioned and to be
outside the clique is a fearsome thing.
The LBC crowd is much more interested
in the fun of it all..."shrinkage" maintains
it's humorous origin....belonging is just
another option in lifestyle.
On the other paw:
"peformance" means different things
to different people, as in different strokes
for different folks at different times...people can morph....I've
morphed
though not in this respect....I could morph
again....I could....I might....maybe...
