The turn signals DO go thru the hazard warning signals.
If you have a bum hazard switch, no turn signals.
You can bypass the hazard switch.
Behind the radio console there is a green wire, I think it even has a 
black band on it near the connector. Connect that wire to the other 
solid green wire, this will power up the turn signals and bypass the 
hazard switch.
