OH , Although I've posted a couple of times here myself, I didn't know I
could talk about guns and dogs, music too.
Guns:
Enfields....was a huge Enfield collector. Particularly Canadian made Long
Branch models. I owned every variant at one time or another..Helped write
a book on them and used to manage the Enfield Research Associates and was
one of the few experts to answer questions on them My interests also
include machine guns, mostly Brens and Stens, Vickers too.
Really backed off of the collecting though. Haven't gone shooting in a
couple of years, but have the urge to fire of a couple of thou...
Dogs...
Own a yellow Lab, he's great. Two black cats, 2 horses, ( Quarter and
Thoroughbred) and 4 chickens...
Music....
Dead Fan, use to go to the concerts , follow them around (when they were
close enough) Mostly 1989-1992. But also listen to Bebop, early 60's
Bossa Nova. Good music to drive my Sprite to.
Racing:
Was last years F Production champ at Waterford Hills Road Racing,
Waterford, Michigan in a 1500 Spitfire. This year I'm not racing but parts
gathering for an H Production Sprite.
I'm an automotive engineer, in the Noise and Vibration field, and also a
Volunteer Firefighter/Paramedic . So, there's me in a nutshell.. Oh ya, I
own three Sprites, a 1960 Army Racing green Sprite MKI, 1962 Pink MKII,
1962 White Sprite race car.
I would really like to own an Austin Cambridge A60 if anyone knows of one.
