Probably not much help to you, but according to one of my books the price at
introduction in Great Britain was #687. That's 687 pounds - don't know if
the pound symbol will show up properly. :-)
I remember reading somewhere that the U.S. price was $1,895, but I have no
idea if that's actually true.
