Back after a few months off. Got the Spridget mojo in
full schwing with the Bugeye and the Midget both in
top shape and on the road, and the white race car (aka
"White Trash") on the track (knocking 13(!) seconds
off last year's best time at Blackhawk, and it still
isn't carburetted properly).
Missed Sprite Spree due to family and racing
commitments, but I heard all about it in great detail
from 4 different people. Wish I could've made it. I
especially missed having the opportunity to pick Mr.
Stapleton's brain, as the DCOE45 is going on White
Trash for the August Grattan races. Did get to
incorporate the expert advice Mike Gigante gave me
last year when he was here, with phenomenal
improvements to the handling of my Sprites. If Mike
posts something, listen. Same for Peter C. and Frank,
but you already knew that.
Anyway, glad to have the time to be back, and looking
forward to hanging out with youse guys again. It's
been 7(!) years since I've been off the list for this
long.
