I sure wouldn't mind having my PO'd '61
MGA 1600 around. Of course if I did,
it would be sporting the 1622 engine today
along with the earlier, more simple tail lights and DeLuxe or Twin-Cam
solid wheels instead of the more maintenance
intensive wires.
A guy from Long Island brings his two MGA's to Vantage Motors in
Stamford for a little work now & then...
a gorgeous Old English White '59 and
Black '58 Twin-Cam, both with red interiors. "Yesterday" these were
small
cars. Today, they're (by comparison) huge
(as in "long"!). The '59 is easily a 25K
example. I've no idea what the more rare
Twin-Cam is worth.
