I was in a jamb today reassembling the Meejit's front end. I didn't have the
cork washers that go between th a-arm and the kingpin. I was bumming big time
as the car has been on it's knees for two weeks waiting to get the kingpin
bushings reamed, so I called Peter C. He suggested that I use hose washers.
Yup, those things inside the girly end of the garden hose. It took a bit of
concentrated ratting out with the Dremel to size them to fit over the a-arm
threaded bushings, but we are now ready to rock....and ....roll.
