In England I owned, over the years, a Ford Escort Sport Mk1, Escort Mexico Mk1,
Escort RS2000 Mk1, Capri RS3100 and a Capri RS2600... They were all great fun!
The Capri imported in the US was very similar to the RS 2600 I believe, but
with the "standard" engines and without the Kugelfischer fuel injection.

Never owned or even driven a Cortina- I would have loved a Lotus Cortina
though, especially a Mk1!
