A funny thing happened today. As most of you know by now, I recently
started a job selling new automobiles. Today I took a customer's car
by an independent body shop we use to take car of work we need done.
While I was there I started to wonder if maybe this might be a good
shop to get my '68 Sprite painted. So, I asked the owner if he new
what an Austin Healey Sprite/MG Midget was. He looked at me for about
10 seconds without saying a word. I figured he probably never heard
of one. Then he says... yes I do... I have one... He then took me to
his parking lot where under a car cover there was indeed an all
original red '68 Midget. It has a hardtop and the interior looks to
be in very good original condition. I'll be getting some pics from
him and will post them on my web site. If anyone is interested,
please let me know and I will find out more about it.
