Daniel's point is well taken for he is
talking a "reasonable" upgrade and
not a case of "over-capacity" sans
an ABS system.

I found YOUR post on the subject
even more interesting though, Ron, considering your all drum set-up with
appropriate upgraded linings for the
"purpose".

The all drum set-up which originally came on my BE was recently
overhauled at the
time of acquisition.

I noticed an obvious difference in stopping
ability between this car and my PO'd
disc/drum Spridgets. Of course, I am
assuming OEM lining material and no,
I cannot vouch for the quality of the job.

One of the first things I did upon
acquiring the little beast, before registration, was install the later
disc/drum set-up. Even with the OEM
stock larger 7/8 MC....much, much improved and on par with previous
experience, despite increased pedal
pressure for the "same effect".
