Guys,
I can't answer your technical questions on bikes. A friend of mine who 
_is_ a cyclist and quite knowledgeable on cycle history, forwards me 
these ebay auction curiosities from time to time. All I can say is that 
his comments that accompany  these links always indicate the absurdity 
of the bid amounts.
