depends upon how rusty the rest of it is! motor? well i guess 67 or
earlier . nice delco horn too! i'm kinda partial to the "sport" steering
wheel myself. so it's a 59 or 60 right. what was it titled as? as for the
motor, is the aluminum tag still riveted to the upper right side of the
block next to the head under plug #1? if so there 's the answer. also
tappet covers or not and mechanical fuel pump mounted on block or no hole
for pump? it is a nice sporty red color though...LOL! back in the mid
70's i worked for a guy who painted his rebuilt motors red or blue. WHY?
it depended upon the components used in the rebuild! if it was built out of
junk parts it got blue and if evrything was really nice it got painted red.
here was his secret code! red= "racing" red! blue= "blow up" blue!
i've always been leary of blue motors ever since! LOL!
