If this engine is pumping oil out the exhaust to the extent of a quart
every
100 miles, you can hardly see the traffic
behind you. BTDT with a leaky diaphragm
in a PCV valve...used exactly 1 qt. every
100 miles. Unreal smoking...serious
smoke!!
Almost gave me a heart attack 'cause
I thought I HAD broken a ring...seriously.
Than I did the old "remove the filtered
oil cap" number and "knew" what the
real problem was.....Whew!! :)
But you know Dave, there are drivers who
hardly ever check their rear view mirror,
let alone include the "rear view" in their
"normal scan" when driving. Matter of
fact I got creamed by one such dweeb.
You just may be right!! :)
