Well, I guess I can't complain. I've been doing my resto under a birch
tree in my back yard, including priming the shell with spray can
primer.. No one's complained yet, even when I fired up the beast with
nothin' but a header on 'er. ;) It helps that the guy who lives two
houses down the street seems to be doing a similar project. Last summer
I heard a Mustang with open pipes running in that general vicinity! ;)

Well...

Now you know why, Dave. :):)

I live in a condo complex these days. There are a lot of things I used
to do that
one cannot do today. Many, many years
ago I actually used to do bodywork and
spray painting (cans) right out in the
back parking area away from other cars
during the day.

EPA laws have come into effect since
then along with a bunch of other laws
regarding oil/antifreeze and a bunch of
other stuff. Even at the garage I got
subsequently, we did quite a bit of car
work outside, including spray painting.

Can't do that today without someone
calling the cops!! :)
