That's exactly where it came from...they
"hard time" starter-genrators, alternators,
fuel/hyd. pumps, etc., etc. based on operational experience over time,
saving
money overall in terms of the bottom line
over time.
If it's good enough for the airline, it's
good enough for me (albeit practiced
to a lesser extent.....haven't got their
resources!!:)
