Many - many years ago Sports Car Graphics (I think) built a small all aluminum monocoupe (spite size) and used a complete 1275 Mini front drive unit But mounted it behind the seats making it a mid engine rear wheel drive. Seems there might be enough room behind a bugeyes seats to do this but why when you can just put a 1275 up front.
