"Thumb"? You sure?

I'm never sure!! It does get embarrassing
sometimes and we have to make
suitable excuses for the sake of
polite society and to be PC.

Even in it's relaxed state,
it's such a raging member I can never
tell when it will go off on it's own. It's
tried to kill me more than once in terms
of "uncommanded" steering inputs, not
only on the ground, but in the sky as
well. I know no place safe from it's
unforcastable movement.

I thought going to a steering "wheel" or
yoke from a "stick" as I became an
airline rather than a night cancelled
bankcheck/airmail pilot would prevent
other than finger or hand-commanded "vertical/horizontal" excursions
but,
alas, I had not counted upon it's ability to
"reach" it's objective!!

I think it was my thumb, Pete...but I cannot swear to it. :)
