With the accelerator pump circuit, it's
not just a question of putting out gas....
it's a question of the right amount over
the right period of time.

Considering the problem, it sounds like
a "suck" rather than "blow" through arrangement.

In any event, what size aux venturi is
being used? I ask this because going
to the smaller 3.5 rather than the more
usually used 4.5 or 5.0 may very well 
solve the problem, since the smaller
area of the smaller venturi brings the
main system in sooner and can "cover"
the "hole" a bit, as can opening up the
idle volume screws a skosh beyond
best idle. However....

........prior to trying the above, 
has a slightly larger pump jet been
tried as yet?
