So I fixed the brakes, sidelight and number plate lights, and came back
expecting to pass. But no siree. When he was reversing the car out, he
managed to pull the steering wheel towards him, and told me that there was
play there. I can see it myself, one can infact push and pull the wheel a
short but significant distance.
He's not an MG specialist, but thought there may be a loose bolt (he tried
to point it out but it was under the air cleaner hoses).
Has anyone else had this problem / knows what it is? I'm green on
steering...
