Probably a blessing in disguise. There is
an MGA body rebuild article in my
June 2001 issue of Practical Classics which I happened to pull out this
morning
for it's VW GTi article (planning a little
work on the FI system).
MGA's are a bitch to "squarely" rebuild
(panel/door fit) according to the author.
OTOH I owned a '56 and '60 in my
youth...sweet cars and arguably the best
looking body MG ever built...smoooth! :)
