Oil/Water gauge leak

I have a small oil leak at the back of my oil press.
water temp guage. In two months I've ruined 4 pairs of
pants and I only drive occasionally! The gauge works
pretty well, and it is original to my 62' Sprite
(Smiths), so I would like to save it or find a direct
replacement. Does anyone have suggestions?
