irresponsible with "funny" priorities.
In such cases, they take after their
parents....NOT the kid's fault. More
a case of "monkey see, monkey do".
We have today the "cell phone generation"
and this extends to today's young adults.
A phone ringing (to them) is like a fire
warning in a cockpit to a pilot....an event
that requires immediate attention. Only
in the pilot's case, attention is given without compromising the primary
priority
(aircraft control).
A month or so ago, a buddy reached
for his cellphone while driving his car in
which your's truly was occupying the
front pax seat. He nearly lost the machine
as he looked down and "went" for the phone. After shouting a warning I
picked
up the goddamn phone and threw it into
the back seat area. Won't drive with him
any more unless he stowes the GD
cell phone first.
