My buddy Peter Pine has a pit bull...
dog is as gentle as my buddy, Pete.
The 4 and 5 year old who live uptstairs
come down and play with the dog
all the time (though they are never
unsupervised, dog or not).
I believe for sure it's the way the dog is
raised. This having been said, the problem (as it has been explained to
me) is once they "lock" their jaws
around something, that's pretty much
it. But, apparently, it's all in the raising or training as according to
buddy Pete, pit bulls are not instinctively agressive.
I dunno, but I've played with this particular
pit bull for many moons. Great dog! :)
