Been a VERY productive day..After 3 weeks of waiting for a painter friend to
finish buffing and hand glazing the body it is done... Now I am on to
assembly:) YIPPEEE...I swear, if a fly had to stop on the body he wouldn't
be able to cause it is soooooo slick. Like a big beautiful piece of blue
glass. Nary a ripple or wave in the body. It really amazes me because I
had almost forgot how good of a job the bodyshop guy done on block sanding
the panels. Has anybody really looked at their BE and contemplated how
marvelous of a design Donald Healy created when he did the bugeye. It has
some of the most beautiful curves of any car made. Well...its off to
install the brake pedal box, master cylinder and then the front suspension
and plumb in all the brakes. That ought to get me through Tuesday <VBG>
Sorry for wasting the bandwidth but I am sooooo happy that my buddy showed
up to buff it, cause now I can get after the assembly. Just had to vent my
ecstatic pleasure.
