Methinks you've suffered enough recent
hail damage to property to last you pretty
much into the next lifetime.
And now you will do what I learned to
do a long time ago.
You know the chamois you currently use to wipe the water off the
machine after a wash??? Well, it just
became something to keep within it's
tube to be carried in the driver's side
pocket...for clearing the inside of the
windshield of "mist" or rainwater that
comes "forward" onto the inside of the
windscreen from the boot surface, etc.
Keep it moist...keep it ready 'cause
when you're driving in hilly country when
the humidity is way up there, and the
tempature/dewpoint spread is within
a couple of degrees, it only takes a
micro-second to entirely fog up the
inside of a BE's windshield as you
"descend" a hill into a "valley" wherein
the temp/dewpoint spread is zilch!!
The later non-roadster Spridgets were
much more safe in this respect, with their neat little quarter-vent
windows. The BE
OTOH, will try to kill you! :(
