Brand new--I just saw Cap'n Bob's reply and agree totally with him. Take that 
sucker back and trade it out.  Where did you get it?   Several listers have 
not had good luck with the Advance Auto rebuilt MCs.  I have one in my car and 
it lasted a while, but I have rebuilt it.  But their warranty on their stuff 
is good.   Yep--take it back and complain.  8^)
