Thoughts... Half shaft Removal

So..  After 2 hours of banging and prying, I got the wheel assembly off of
the ball joint (which is now ruined), and now I cannot get the axel shaft
out of the wheel assembly.  Pry bars, wheel pullers, banging and PB Blaster
just don't work.  I might consider heat next. 

 

Oh. '95 Ford Probe.

 

Anyone have suggestions?
