For Sale
1959 Bugeye Sprite and 1971 MG Midget

1959 Bugeye Sprite
7 Original 948 Engine with some documentation of engine work done in the
late 1970s boring out of the cylinders. Have turned the engine over and it
spins freely. Havent tried to start it because I was going to replace with
a 1275.
7 Previous owner said it ran in 1997 he put new tires on it and drove it
around his neighborhood for about a week then decided to restore it. Then
it sat in his garage until I got it three years ago.
7 Clear Ohio title.
7 Solid floors, has been stored inside since the 80s. This would make a
good project for someone with a little knowledge and skills.
7 All the parts to the car are included, except the grille, which was not
given to me, but can be found on e-bay or other sources.
7 New side windows still in paper rapping, aluminum cockpit surround in
good
condition, some slight pitting, but cleaned up it looks really nice. Soft
convertible top, no hard top.
7 Has original red seats in the car.
7 All the turn signals and glass looks nice, I took everything off the car
when I got it to keep it clean and safe.
7 The bonnet will need some work on the hinges, and someone removed the
fender beading before I got it.

1971 MG Midget
7 1275 Engine that is in running condition. We put some gas in the carbs
and it fired right up and idled well. The carbs were borrowed off another
car, so the carbs will not be with it, but this is still negotiable.
7 I was given this car for doing some work for someone. I have the
ability
to get a title for it, I havent because my original thought was to take the
1275 and put it into the Bugeye.
7 Solid body, with very minor surface rust in the normal places. Seats
are
not in great condition, but the frames look to be solid.
7 Comes with both a soft top and a hard top. The rear glass in the hard
top
is missing, but the side glass is in it.

I can supply digital pictures to anyone who might be interested.
I would like to sell them as a package but would consider splitting them up.
I have had a local knowledgeable LBC owner take a look at them. I am asking
$1800.00 for both.
I can help deliver if in a local area or for a fee depending on distance.
Located in Northeast Ohio, zip code 44319.

Please contact me off list if interested.
