"Overflowing"? Or, just "leaking" concurrent with "G" forces as you
drive??

In the first case, a stuck (needle) valve or a valve not fully
closing....or worn, and not
fully seated in the "shutoff" position, all
of which will allow the float bowl to over-
fill.

In the later case, a worn or missing gasket under the center "nut"?

Or, perhaps the "fuel level" is too high and needs to be (lowered?)
properly adjusted
in accordance with the book?

Has your set-up got metal floats?? These can leak and fill, thus
destroying their ability to "float" (and thus, to shut off fuel).
