New tech, I just got a catalog the has an LED trouble light in it. It 
looks like the same longe style as the fluorescents, but it has rows of 
LEDs in it. Should take some severe abuse and not burn out for quite a 
while. The flashlights that I've seen are really bright, so these might 
be the way to go for the future.
