Hmmm.  I don't know these LBCs well enough yet to say for sure but if this were
happening to one of my motorcycles, I'd be looking immediately at the spark
advance. What you are getting is symptomatic of insufficient advance on many
types of engines. I would also check the condensor and the coil. I once had a
bad coil that started doing about this same sort of thing when it
first went bad.

Let us know what you find when you get it fixed....
