OK guys, what would cause a radiator to constantly dribble out the
overflow hose?
My Healey was loosing a gallon of coolant an hour @ 70 mph coming home
from Carlisle.
It lost it going out too but with all the rain, it never got over 170*.
(rain cooled engine I guess)
Everything was flushed out about 6 months ago when I finished the car.
It was fine up until a few weeks ago when I noticed it marking it's
territory when I shut it off. Temp went up 20* and it boiled out the
overflow tube.
So I replaced the radiator cap. Now it's worse!
I am thinking the cap is not seating down in the rad neck. It spits
water all the time and when it spits out enough, the temp climbs and it
boils over like Old Faithful.

It is the same system as a Sprite downflow, just bigger.
I am not on the Healey list ( I was but just couldn't stand all the
excitement)
