I am sure you are referring to Barney Gaylord there. He is in a class by
himself all right.
I am not saying I beat all of them ... I was nearly 4 seconds off of FTD
(Evo VIII), and 2s behind the fastest Miata, but of the six cars that beat
my time, only one was normally aspirated ;-) Of the twenty cars that were
slower, three were forced induction. Of course the Yoko A008R tires sure
helped a lot! I just barely squeaked past Adam's turbo-charged 1990 Miata on
my last run... thank goodness he left his race tires at home. Naturally,
this was a "Test & Tune" so it did not count in the season points ;-(
