Yup, nothing can tell you just how noisy first gear is going to be other 
than slapping it into place. Sure makes me miss my 1972 Chevelle where I 
could pull the driveshaft and the crossmember and just snake the trans out 
of there without touching any motor mounts. No, I won't trade my Spridget 
for a Chevelle.
