Check the fuse, if the fuel gauge quit at the same time, it's the fuse.
It might just be a dirty fuse, steel wool those fuses every 20 years or
so ;)
If the fuse is good, it might be the switch itself.
Remove the green wire and hook it to either the green/red and/or the
green/white. If the signals work, it is the switch.
If none of the above, replace the flasher unit.
And you do not have to buy a Lucas flasher.
Pick up a $2 3 prong flasher, unroll the aluminum can from the guts on
the new unit and your old Lucas unit. replace the outer cans gently tab
the roll back over and no one will ever know. You just saved $28.
