I got to tell you that I sell off about 5 to 7k of new Harley parts a month 
in an agreement with our local Harley dealer - plus I also dabble on Guitars 
and amps.  
This month I will gross about 3k in guitar tube amps. 
Over the years I have had a few screwups that were my fault.  My solution has 
always been to not only refund the shipping as well as the purchase price, 
but I also add an additional 10 - 25 dollars into the mix - depending on the 
original price of the item and the overall issue.  Why shouldn't I?  I was the 
one that caused the "buyer"  to have an issue.  I feel totally responsible when 
anything negative happens that has my fingerprint attached to it.
I have 630 feedbacks (showing) with a 100% rating. 
As far as I am concerned when you treat people the right way it comes back to 
you "measured flat and pressed down."  (To use a Biblical phrase).    
Just had to share my thoughts!
