licked...good! :)

Webers only need 1.5psi to function normally, just like SU's. They both are low-
pressure applications. IMHE, they can run as high as 2.5 (big vibration motors 
or racing) before the fuel bowl needle valves are overcome by too much pressure 
and flooding begins to occur.....most usually
showing up at......IDLE!

Now I am not saying this is definitely the
problem, but most low pressure electric
fuel pumps put out 2-4psi, and some up
to 6.

Now SU's seem better at handling slight
overpressures than Webers, which have
a reputation as somewhat more sensitive
than SU's in a lot of respects.

So most people using a Weber will acquire
and install a fuel pressure regulator just
before the carb, and set it to 1.5-2.0 psi.

Refresh my memory....did your Weber
come specifically calibrated (in kit form)
for your specific application???
