Please don't mention hardtops!

The mere mention of hardtops makes me cry.  Back in 1966, I was a 
Southern California cop, and our tow service had brought in a Frogeye 
that had flipped on the freeway and was totalled.   The hardop had 
simply popped off, and only had a few minor scratches.  (When the car 
slid about 100 feet upside down, well, you can guess what happened to 
the driver.) 

When title passed to the tow company, I was able to buy it for $10.   
About 10 months later, we were living in an apartment that had only an 
open carport for parking.  You guessed it.  Someone nicked it in the 
middle of the night!  I still wanna cry!
