Magic!

2 bolts on the little agle part of the top of the door.
2 long nuts under the vent window inside the door panel (remove panel)
And a funky support bracket way down at the bottom of the door.
And then you say abbracadabbra 3 times and pull like hell as you sort of 
squeeze the wider than the hole vent frame out of the holes in the top 
of the door.
It helps greatly if the roll up window is also removed but not 
neccessary, just roll it up as you guide out the vent frame.
