And therein lies the rub. Our humble state did exactly that.. and
what is wrong you ask?? What is wrong is that if you remove
insurance from a vehicle it takes one keystroke from the home of the
insurance company. TO START NEW INSURANCE TAKES SEVERAL WEEKS! What
this means is that if you have odne everything right you still end up
in "room 7" when trying to get a license because you had a car that
did not have insurance coverage ACCORDING TO THE STATE'S COMPUTER
whether you really had insurance or not. The reality is that one
must continue insurance overlapping on a vehicle for a month or more
and that a sold vehicle requires that the SELLER get a notarized
document from the buyer stating that the car is sold.. so I have to
get 2 bills of sale so that I can send a spare to the state when they
inevitably screw up..

.. sorry... bit of a rant.. it's just that it could easily be set up
to work for starting and dripping insurance.. but this is
Louisiana... stay away from here.. protect your children...
