Well, Cap'n... It often surprises people to find out how many different
named beers are made by a single major brewery. As a home brewer of nearly
40 years I have tons of useless information about beer.... For the Pabst

Interestingly enough, Meister Brau Beer was a product of the Meister Brau
Brewing Company in Chicago, IL, inventors of "Lite" beer, and was never part
of the Pabst Brewing Co. I wonder why Augie Pabst used that particular
tapper head?
Meister Brau was never able to market "Lite Beer" however and in 1972 they
were taken over by the MIller Brewing Company who marketed the original
Meister Brau invention as "Miller Lite". Meister Brau beer is oft derided
by home brewers and beer connoisseurs. Such phrases are "The reason for the
fall of the Third Reich", and Meister Brau - english translation - "Horse
Pi$$".....
